iDEAL BAS 100 Ref. 22823

Ref. 22823 is a BAS 100 joining band saw blades by flash butt, with a UniOP panel over the weld and anneal sequence. It dates from 1999 and the work done on it was limited to new paint; nothing was stripped or rebuilt. The blade is gripped hydraulically and the anneal runs to a set temperature read by pyrometer, so the result does not depend on how long an operator leaves the current on.
