Built in 2013, this iDEAL BAS 065-11 is a used band saw blade welder. Flash butt welding with automatic upset force is the working principle, so no judgement is needed at the panel once the blade ends have been placed. The same machine covers narrow stock and the full 65 mm width, and the anneal that follows the weld is watched by pyrometer rather than run for a fixed time.
