Where coil stock arrives on pallets rather than on mandrels, a decoiler of this type removes the need for a separate coil car and shortens changeover. This 2015 unit unwinds straight off the pallet and passes the strip into its own straightening head, so the material reaching the die is flat and stress-relieved. Turntable: 1500 mm diameter, 3000 kg load capacity, up to 10 rpm, four-point bearing, 2.2 kW inverter-controlled drive, winding direction CW or CCW as selected.
