The straightening head is what makes this unit more than a turntable. Nine rolls of 40 mm diameter, four upper against five driven lower rolls, take the curl out of the strip before it leaves the machine. That head has its own 0.75 kW inverter drive, independent of the table, so pull-off speed and tension can be balanced against the line downstream. Year of manufacture is 2013.
